Must be 18 years of age or older to participate in all contests on-air, on-line or rewards club unless otherwise stated by New Country 98.1.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded; no substitution. Prize holds no cash value.
The winner(s) and any guest(s), if applicable, must comply with all COVID-19 vaccination, screening, testing, safety and related requirements imposed or required by (if applicable) the Station, the venue, event promoter, sponsors, travel providers, hotels, governmental authorities or others in connection with the receipt, use, and redemption of any prize (other than a cash prize). Refusal to comply with all applicable COVID-19 requirements will result in forfeiture of the prize and no replacement or alternate prize will be provided. All cancellations are deemed beyond the control of the Station and its sponsors. This includes, but is not limited to, event cancellations due to any pandemic or epidemic constituting a public health emergency, including those subject to government mandated quarantines, travel restrictions, or stay-at-home orders. The Station and/or its sponsors shall in no way be responsible under any circumstances whatsoever for replacing, and/or for reimbursing any winner(s) with any form of compensation for, any prize(s) or portion(s) thereof forfeited due to the refusal of the winner(s) and/or their guest(s) to comply with all applicable COVID-19 requirements and/the cancellation of any event, nor will any alternate prize(s) be provided.
Winners of contests with a prize value equal to or less than $250.00 are not eligible for a period of 30 days to win another on-air, on-line, or draw box enter-to-win contest of up to $250.00 value. This applies to all members of the same household. One member per household per 30 days unless otherwise instructed by New Country 98.1. Qualifiers and winners of prizes exceeding a value of $250.00 are not eligible to compete for ANY prize for at least 30 days from the date they won.
The winner has 30 days, unless otherwise instructed by New Country 98.1, from the time the prize is available to pick up the prize.
Off air or technical difficulties will nullify play of the particular contest.
Only one member of a household is eligible to win a prize once every 30 days unless otherwise instructed by New Country 98.1.
If an event or contest is cancelled beyond the control of New Country 98.1, (hereinafter referred to as Stingray Radio), we are not responsible to replace the prize.
All material submitted becomes the sole property of Stingray Radio and will not be returned.
If contesting is administered all or in part over the telephone, internet or fax Stingray Radio and its sponsors and affiliates are not responsible for any interruption in service, miscommunications, misdirected calls or transmissions or technical failure of any kind.
In the event of “enter to win” contesting Stingray Radio is not responsible for illegible handwriting, lost or mutilated ballots and/or incomplete ballots.
Stingray Radio, in their absolute discretion; reserve the right to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of the unavailability of any component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
Stingray Radio is not responsible for replacing a lost or stolen event ticket or arranging for a substitute event in the event of cancellation of a show.
Entrants eligible to receive a prize will be required to sign a declaration confirming understanding and acceptance and compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of a prize and a release satisfactory to Stingray Radio and participating sponsors before being declared a winner. All cash prizes will be awarded by cheque. The Stingray Radio Promotions Department will contact all winners to notify them when cheques are available for pick up.
Employees of Stingray Radio, their affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, advertisers, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Decisions of the judges are final.
Stingray Radio shall not be held accountable or responsible for misdirected phone calls, interruption in telephone service, busy signals and/or any other difficulty in contacting Stingray Radio by means of the contest line. No use of multiple phone lines (i.e. a contestant may not use both a cell phone and home phone at the same time or a business phone system that would allow a contestant to be working multiple phone lines at one time)
Stingray Radio shall not be held accountable or responsible for misdirected phone calls, interruption in telephone service, busy signals and/or any other difficulty in contacting a contestant by phone.
Stingray Radio reserves the right to discontinue the contest or alter the rules at anytime.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to hold Stingray Radio, their affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, advertisers, advertising and promotion agencies their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of the prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claiming to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the judges.
By entering, the winner agrees to the use of his/her name, address, voice and likeness in any advertising or promotion without compensation
The winner of any prize with a retail value in excess of $750.00 will be required to answer a mathematical skill testing question.
